eTwinning Project of the Month: Eco-Action Network

Our project, Eco Action Network, started formally on eTwinning this scholastic year. However, we have been working on it for these last 3 years through the EkoSkola Committee. The project aims are to raise more awareness amongst our students towards a more sustainable environment both at school and community level. This project makes also an emphasis on water consumption and its use especially during the month of March when World Water Day is celebrated. Besides informing students on water usage and how to safeguard this scarce vital resource, solidarity with children in Third World countries is shown by raising funds to support various water projects in their countries.

eTwinning Project of the Month: European Great Figures

Our class, Year 6.3 of San Gwann Primary B, St. Clare College, is taking part in an eTwinning project called “European Great Figures”. It is a project that involves 27 countries from all over Europe, including our school, with children aged between 7 and 12 years.

eTwinning Project Showcase Seminar 2013: From the mind of eTwinners

To mark the end of scholastic year 2012-2013, the eTwinning National Support service held the annual eTwinning Project Showcase Showcase Seminar at the Microsoft Innovation Centre, Skyparks, Malta International Airport. Present for the seminar were about 20 eTwinning teachers, eTwinning Ambassadors, together with the NSS and the Director for Curriculum Management and eLearning, Mr. Sandro Spiteri.

eTwinning Project of the Month: One Love, One Heart, One Vision

The name of the project ‘One Love, One Heart, One Vision’ is distinguished by the word ONE. Albeit collaborating with 10 different partners from various countries ie Greece, Poland, Czech Republic, Turkey, Romania and the UK, with each having their different language as well as their traditions and customs, it is evident that we all have that “Oneness” within, which is common to all.
