May Update on eTwinning Plus – Registering a Project During the Month of May

In April 2014, the Maltese eTwinning National Support Service  published the first list of Maltese teachers who have added teachers from eTwinning Plus countries to their existing projects. Up to the 14th of April, a total of 12 Maltese teachers had invited teachers from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Tunisia and Ukraine to  join them in 12 different eTwinning Projects. In May 2014, the Maltese eTwinning National Support Service co-organised an eTwinning Contact Seminar in Armenia, which has further helped Maltese teachers to get to know new partners from eTwinning Plus Countries. eTwinning Training – iPads in Education

The eTwinning National Support Service is pleased to announce two 1 day seminars focusing on the use of iPads in Education, with particular attention to how these can be used in a collaborative eLearning project situation (such as eTwinning). Due to the popularity of the sessions, separate training will be taking place at the National Curriculum Centre in Hamrun, as well as at the European Union Projects Agency in St. Venera, between the 10th-11th of July 2014.

Educators from across all schools and year groups are invited to attend. Below is a list of Apps, which will be used during the seminar. The Apps are open-ended and may be used in a primary or secondary context, as well as SEN classrooms.

eTwinning Project Showcase Seminar 2014

The eTwinning National Support Service is pleased to host the 2014 edition of the eTwinning Project Showcase Seminar. This Seminar will be run for teachers by teachers who will be presenting some of the best eTwinning Projects running during the scholastic year 2013/2014. Please refer to Letter Circular DeL 15- 2014 eTwinning Project Showcase Seminar

This seminar may be attended by all teaching grades (both eTwinners who wish to learn more about other teachers’ work, and also teachers who are new to the subject and wish to learn about starting a project). Members of the senior management team in schools, College Principals, Education Officers and other officials who wish not only to learn more about eTwinning projects, but also to facilitate their teaching staff participating or wishing to participate in the action, are welcome to attend.
