eTwinning: Celebrate Diversity Campaign

At its very essence, eTwinning is about active citizenship, working together, and mutual understanding between people from different cultures – so let’s celebrate diversity this spring!

Screen Shot 2016-04-28 at 11.42.54From 18 April to 9 May, eTwinning wants to find out how young people across Europe feel about diversity through the ‘Celebrate Diversity’ campaign. The campaign will see teachers organising debates in their classrooms, asking their students to engage with questions such as: “How do you define diversity?”, “How can we preserve it?”, and “How can we promote diversity?”.

Teachers and students are invited to create a one-minute/5 pictures video that sums up their discussions on diversity, which will be shared across the eTwinning Live to mark eTwinning Day on 9 May.

To find out more about how you and your students can celebrate diversity this eTwinning Day, 9 May, stay tuned to eTwinning Live!On the 9th May, there will be an expert talk at 5pm CET and ambassadors have been asked to organise a twitter chat on Diversity.
