eTwinning Online Course – eTwinning Tools for Learning in eTwinning Projects

screen-shot-2016-11-21-at-10-06-46The eTwinning National Support Service is pleased to announce a short online course on the eTwinning Learning Events Platform. The course, eTwinning Tools and Activities for Creating an eTwinning Project, will run entirely online from the 21 November – 5 December 2016. The activities will be asynchronous, meaning that educators may log in at any time during the day and complete the short tasks required for the course.

This Learning Event is open to all educators from Malta and Gozo as well as eTwinning Plus Countries, as part of an ongoing collaboration between Malta, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Tunisia and Ukraine.

The topics covered during this course will include:

1. Introductions on a Virtual Wall;

2. Online presentation applications;

3. Geo-tagging of images;

4. Online quizzes;

5. Decision making/voting tools;

6. Mind-mapping in preparation for a project;

7. Using Google Docs for online collaboration.

screen-shot-2016-11-21-at-10-06-58During the course itself, educators will be able to pitch their project ideas and also create new eTwinning Collaborative Projects. This last task however, is not compulsory, meaning that educators can still participate even if they are not planning to start a project during this scholastic year.
