eTwinning One Day Seminar

The eTwinning National Support Service is pleased to offer a one-day, voluntary seminar for Educators who are interested to learn more about eTwinning and Online Tools for Learning.
The seminar will be held on Saturday, the 6th May at the eLearning Centre, Great Siege Road, Floriana, from 9:00am – 2:30pm.  Teachers, kindergarten assistants and learning support assistants, who would like to learn about the benefits of eTwinning educational initiatives , are invited to attend.

The programme of events is as follows:
9.00 – 10.30   General introduction to  – eTwinning & Digital Literacy    – The eTwinning portal   –  Professional development opportunities in eTwinning
10.30 – 10.45   Coffee break
10.45 – 12.15  Hands on workshops: 1/ Browsing the portal  2/ Basic skills/ Web2.0 tools
12.15 – 12.45  Sandwich lunch
12.45 – 2.15  Showcasing of projects, examples/ideas of activities and Partner finding – creating a new project
2.15 – 2.30  Concluding session:  Sharing of ideas

Topic : How to apply for the National Quality Label. 

The Maltese eTwinning National Support Service will be organising a series of webinars for Maltese teachers interested to learn more about eTwinning. These online seminars are an opportunity for eTwinners to become involved in continuing Professional Development online.

This first webinar is open to all Maltese educators, state and non-state who are working on an eTwinning project.

What is a National Quality Label.

How to apply for the National Quality Label.

Exploring the criteria that should be followed throughout the project. 


The webinar will be held online, therefore teachers will be able to follow the session from the comfort of their own homes. Teachers may use a computer, laptop or tablet to connect to the meeting, further details will be provided to those who apply.

Participation is strictly by registration and interested teachers are kindly asked to send an email to the eTwinning National Support Service on and request to join the meeting by not later than Tuesday 4th April 2017.
